Day 1:
After arrival in the evening at Belgrade airport you will be transferred to your accommodation at the 3 star Merkur hotel in Vrnjacka Banja spa
.
Day 2:
Our first day will begin after breakfast with a half day trip to Goc Mountain and where we will have lunch at one of the local restaurants. The afternoon will be free, giving you a chance to use the facilities of the wellness program at the hotel. In the evening we will have dinner at the hotel.

Day 3:
Our second day will be a full day trip. Beginning after breakfast we will first visit Zica monastery, this famous monastery (built in XIII century) is the place where the first king of Serbia, Stefan was crowned. Next stop will be Studenica monastery, another famous and well visited building and where we will have a traditional lunch. On our way back to Vrnjacka Banja we will have a few stops for refreshments and to enjoy the picturesque surroundings, arriving back at the hotel in time for dinner.

Day 4:
Relaxing day, today will be a free day where again if you wish you can use the wellness and other facilities of the hotel or just laze the day way walking through the promenade, having coffee and just watch the world go by!

Day 5:
After breakfast today we take a trip to Smederevo to see the medieval town and the well known historical Golubac fortress on the Danube River. We will later also visit Viminacium, an old roman town and military camp (1st-5^th century A.D. and the Mesolithic archaeological sight of Lepenski Vir. Lunch will be at one of the local traditional restaurants. Late afternoon, we arrive at Donji Milanovac and the Lepenski Vir hotel in time for dinner.

Day 6:
After breakfast start again, this time the plan for the day is to visit the Negotin region, one of the most famous wine regions in Serbia. We will taste the wine in a few of the old traditional wine cellars where they make wine exactly the same way they used to make it 100 years ago. Lunch will be at the site, followed by an evening return to the hotel.

Day 7:
Our last day will begin with an after breakfast trip to Belgrade for sight seeing of the capital with a local guide. There will be a chance for some free time and shopping. After lunch we will depart for the airport.

Of course as with all our holidays you can pick and choose which excursions and activities you want. For example if during the course of your holiday you find things too demanding i.e. if you think that you have seen enough historical sites and you would like to swap one of those days just purely to spend at your own leisure then let us know and we will do everything possible to accommodate you. If on the other hand you would like to see and do even more then again let us know and we will do our utmost to fulfill your wishes.

Eastern Serbia

Up to now eastern Serbia has been one of the least explored parts of Serbia which is a great pity considering the natural beauty, historic monuments and interesting traditions the area has. The landscape is dominated by a picturesque mountain range that is actually the southern tip of the Carpathian Mountains. There are many scenic views of nature to be found here, the main attraction is, of course, the Danube with the famous Iron Gates gorge. The river, the second largest in Europe, is constricted between the Carpathians forcing its way through several narrow passes. The hillsides that rise above the river are home to many types of wildlife and for this reason it is protected as a National Park.
On the bank of Danube near Donji Milanovac is Lepenski Vir, this is an archeological site with remains dating back some 9000 years. There area also numerous Roman remains in the area. The Golubac castle, at the entrance to the Iron Gates gorge is a well known historical site and the spa-town of Sokobanja, is a testimony to the skillful builders of the middle Ages.

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Soul Adventure – the home of leisure and adventure holidays. Your holiday has been especially prepared to give you a taste of Serbia ‘The Soul of Europe’ the beautiful forgotten corner of Europe, with comfortable village accommodation and first class hotels, mostly on half board basis and with an exciting agenda of all types of activities and trips.

Please read these conditions carefully and keep for your reference.

The ‘conditions’ set out the terms on which you make your contract with us, Soul-Adventure.com. They form the complete contract between you and us. No other terms and conditions apply, and no variation of these conditions will be valid unless given in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Soul-Adventure.com. All conditions are binding upon both parties. Any waiver of these conditions by Soul-Adventure.com following any breach of conditions by you does not constitute a variation in the conditions; it will also not set a precedent that waivers may occur in the future.

The primary interest of Soul-Adventure.com is to ensure the smooth operation and running of all aspects of your holiday, from making the booking through to your return home. Should you have a problem during your holiday, please bring this to the attention of your host, who will be fully trained and will make every effort to bring about a satisfactory solution to your problem. During your stay you will also have available a local contact number for additional assistance should this be required.

A deposit of £50.00 per person is required to confirm your booking. A confirmation notice will then be sent to you within 24 hours by email confirming your holiday details and schedule to show the due date for the payment of the balance of your holiday. Please note that bookings placed within 8 weeks of the date of departure must be accompanied by payment in full including copy of insurance taken out. The contract is in place once payment has been received by us, and written confirmation received by you. Failure to make the full payment by the due date will constitute a breach of the contract and Soul-Adventure.com reserves the right to cancel the booking for each person named in that booking and levy cancellation charges as detailed below. The person first named on the booking form will be taken as the ‘lead person’ they will be responsible for guaranteeing payment of the total cost for all named, and does so on behalf of, and with the consent of all persons for whom the booking is completed.

The Accommodation is in village houses or hotels. There may be some variation between rooms. Should you have any specific requirements such as dietary needs for example then please contact us first to discuss these details.

Price Guarantee. The price quoted is the price that you pay.

Travel arrangements. Your holiday with us starts with your arrival at Belgrade Airport and ends with your departure from Belgrade airport.

Cancellations. Should you, or any members of your party need to cancel your booking, or any part of it, once it has been confirmed, you must do so in writing, this is essential! A refund will be made, subject to a cancellation charge, dependant on the amount of notice provided. The cancellation charges are as follows. Prior to (8 weeks) before the start of your holiday, a full refund less £50.00 deposit payment per person. During the 8 weeks immediately preceding the start of your holiday, there will be no refund, although it may be possible to make a claim on your travel insurance for a cancellation.

Booking changes by you. If you wish to alter details submitted on your booking form after confirmation it will have to be done in writing, or by phone. We will undertake all measures to accommodate reasonable requests, were possible. We are not, however, bound to comply with such requests. Should any alteration to your holiday cause an addition, or reduction in costs, these will be advised to you, for your acceptance. If a request for an alteration to your booking has been met, this will be confirmed in a revised booking confirmation, payment for such will be under the same conditions as stated above.

Booking changes by us. The activities and trips are all subject to weather/ environment, and conditions beyond our control. The activity supervisor/representative is responsible for your safety; they have the final decision on the suitability of the activities and trips. We therefore reserve the right to substitute any activity or trip with another of equivalent value chosen by the activity supervisor/representative at there discretion. Should we become aware of changes to your activity or trip before the start date of your holiday, we will endeavor to inform you immediately. If for any reason we are unable to substitute any activity or trip you will be offered a refund to reflect the loss of that activity, but this will not be seen as fundamental to your holiday, and so not a reason for cancellation.

Insurance. Please be aware that you may need specialized insurance for some of our activities such as White Water rafting Quad Biking, Hiking or Horse Riding. If any of these activities or trips is booked then a copy of your insurance details must be sent to Soul-Adventure.com 4 weeks prior to your holiday.

A minimum of 8 people are needed to book one of our coach tours. A deposit of £50.00 per person is payable to secure your booking, however if booking is made with less than 8 weeks to go before the departure date then full payment is required. If there is only 1 person in a room there is a supplement payable of £70. If there are more than 2 people in any room then there is a discount of £12 off the holiday price for each person in the room.
