Again, as with the other packages offered in this site, this holiday includes three days of sightseeing and the rest spent at your leisure, but of course if you wish you can use these days to enjoy some of our add on trips and activities.
Day 1 Settling in
After arrival at Belgrade airport we transfer to our accommodation for the week, 1 1/2 hours depending on which accommodation is chosen. Arrival is usually late afternoon if flying with B.A or late evening by Jat airlines.
Day 2 Rest day Our first day will be a day of rest just unwinding at the accommodation or perhaps taking a leisuely stroll in the surrounding countryside.
Day 3 Trip to Potpecka cave
We start after breakfast at 8.30am with a trip to Zlakusa village where we take a gentle nature walk of 3-4 km to Roska Spa where we have lunch at the fish farm restaurant. After lunch we will visit Potpecka cave system with its amazing stalagtights and which was inhabited since Neolithic times. We then return to Zlakusa village where we then visit the pottery school, where there will be a chance to make your own pot. After the pottery we go to the nearby Ethno park (Traditional Serbian house and yard) where we have dinner and enjoy a traditional Serbian folk evening.

Day 6 Sightseeing of Topola
We start after breakfast at 9am with a trip to Topola where we visit where we will visit the magnificent church of St George built by King Peter 1 and dedicated to his people, he and other Kings and Royal family members are buried in the church. We will also visit the smaller church and museum of Karadjordjevic, leader of Serbian uprising against the ruling Turks. Then we carry on to have lunch at 'Lunjevica' a traditional Serbian restaurant.
Day 7 Sightseeing of Cacak
We start after breakfast at 9am with a trip to Cacak where we have a guided tour of the city. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. The afternoon will be free for shopping. Return home in time for evening meal.

The area of Gruza where the town of Knic is situated boasts many natural attractions. It is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Rudnik, Ramac, Gledic, Kotlenik and Jesevac. The area is protected in winter from the wind, and during summer is protected from the beating sun. Gruza is especially nice in the spring when the many orchards are in full bloom.
The town of Knic is just one of 36 adjacent villages in the area. Nearby Lake Gruza is teeming with fish. It is also great for water sports such as kayaking. Gruza is also well known as a hunting area with plentiful game such as rabbit, quail, deer, pheasant, partridges and wild duck.
The area is very rich with cultural and historical monuments, but the most famous are the 14th century church in Borac and the 15th century Kamenac Monastery in Cestin.
Borac is one of the most interesting villages of Gruza due to its rich history and natural attractions. There you can see remains of the towers of a medieval fort erected during the reign of King Stefan Lazarevic. Below the fort is a church built in 1359.
The village of Grabovac is 2 km from Knic and 4 km far from Gruza. It is home to historical monuments, excellent restaurants with gracious hosts. Grabovac is very serene; it is a laid back destination for those visitors who just want to enjoy the simple pleasures of Serbia.
